If your tenants pay to another bank account than the Proper bank account that is uniquely assigned to their lease, you can add this payment to the lease, so that the balance is updated.
1. Click on Transactions and Register payment. To add a payment you received, select from tenant.
2. Specify the amount and the date of the payment. It is a good idea to set the date accurately to make your accounting easier, as it will match your bank payment.
You also have an option to add a description, this is an internal note for you to remember what the payment was for.
3. Finally, you click on Save to confirm the registration of the payment.
4. The registered payments will be visible on the transactions list for your overview. And you will see the balance on the lease get updated.
Made a mistake? No problem, you can cancel the payment by clicking Cancel payment.
If you have the Visma e-conomic integration enabled, there is a setting to control whether manually registered payments should be added to e-conomic.
