The following is a guide on how to solve the most common problems, when documents on the platform fails to download/upload
The first solution that we urge you to try, when experiencing any sort of technical issue on the platform, is to log out of platform and login again.
If this does not work, it is likely that the problem is caused by your browser.
The following example is for Google Chrome users
One of the most common problems, when trying to download a document, is that there is installed a pop-up blocker, that rejects incoming documents or pages, to avoid adds, spam, virus, etc.
To solve this problem, you need to make sure that your browser knows, that the platform is a trusted website. This can be done manually in the settings for your browser:
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner
- Choose Settings
- Choose Privacy and security
- Choose Site settings
- Choose Pop-ups and redirects
- Check that Propers website is under the category: Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects or add it to the list with the following address: "https://app.helloproper.com".
Another common error that occurs, when trying to either download or upload a document, is caused by the browserdata, cookies and cache that needs to be cleared. This can also be done through the settings for your browser:
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner
- Choose Settings
- Choose Privacy and security
- Choose Clear browsing data
- Choose Clear data
