How to add VAT and select VAT as default

Adding or removing VAT from your invoice

If you have an invoice to which you want to add or remove VAT:

1. Click on the corresponding tenancy
2. Select Rent in the lease menu
3. Press the 3 dots (···) next to the invoice item
4. Select Update VAT
5. Update the VAT by choosing between tax-exempt and 25%
6. Save the change

Do you have a rental agreement that requires VAT to be stated on all invoices by default?

By default, a lease is tax-exempt. You can change the default information for the invoices at any time. To add VAT to your lease invoices, follow the steps below.

Adding VAT to your invoice

1. Go to the lease menu of the rental agreement and select Rent
2. Click on Actions
3. Update billing settings
4. Go to VAT and select 25%
5. Save the change

Each new invoice line in which VAT can be applied is now automatically set to 25% VAT.
